Only Devendra Fadnavis Fits the Role of Prime Minister Today; Says Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar

Phaltan: “I am one of those party workers who once dreamed of Sharad Pawar becoming the Prime Minister. However, in today’s scenario, the only leader from Maharashtra who truly fits the role of Prime Minister is Devendra Fadnavis,” stated senior leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar faction), Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar. He was speaking at a programme held in Phaltan.

Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar is known as a close associate of Sharad Pawar and has worked alongside him in political and social spheres for several decades. Therefore, open praise for Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis from a trusted aide of Sharad Pawar has become a major point of discussion in political circles.

Meanwhile, there has been recurring speculation that Devendra Fadnavis may move from state politics to the Centre and could eventually become the Prime Minister of the country. Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar’s statement has once again added momentum to these discussions.

Recently, Devendra Fadnavis himself reacted to comments suggesting that he could be Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s successor. He said that Indian culture does not search for a successor while the leader is still active, calling such practices “Mughal culture.” He added that there is no reason at present to look for Prime Minister Modi’s successor, as Modi is leading the country very effectively. Under his leadership, India’s global image has strengthened significantly. Earlier, India was dismissed with the phrase “Kis ped ki patti?” but today, the world looks at India with hope.
